Coach Melissa

I am a PCM head coach and the Laguna Gym Director. I am a former member of the 18-time UCA College National Champion University of Kentucky Cheerleading Program. I have been involved in cheerleading since 1996, and my roles in the industry have included athlete, coach, camp instructor, choreographer, gym director, gym owner, event producer, and judge. I am currently a certified USASF Safety Judge. My favorite part of coaching cheer is seeing the joy my athletes feel when they learn something new or perform well at competition.

 

 

    

Coach Ali

 I am a team coach of fairytales, destiny, and superstition, a passion team tumbling coach, and I coach academy tumbling.  I started cheering in middle school and high school and began all star cheerleading with magic Allstars in 2000. I competed with magic all-stars for 4 years.  I have been coaching at PCM since October of 2000. I started teaching tumbling and began coaching teams in 2002. I am a level 1-5 USASF certified coach and a credentialed teacher.  I love coaching because hard work always pays off and watching athletes push themselves to reach individual and team goals will always inspire me.

There is no ceiling or limit to what you can do, always keep reaching to be your personal best and be conscience of the curve that you grade yourself on.

 

 

Coach Corky

I have over 18 years of cheerleading experience. I'v worked with and for many nationally ranked all star teams, from the West Coast to the East Coast. I'm currently coaching Superstition, Passion, and Fantasy. I love coaching and seeing someone get over their fears or get a new skill.  It's the best feeling in the world.  At the end of the day I just want to give back. D.B.D " Do By Doing"

 

Coach Josh

My position includes, team coach, tumbling coach, rockstar, role model.   I cheered for Aliso Niguel High School and several All-Star Programs. I've worked at many local gyms before finding my home at PCM. I've also had stints coaching high school cheer including Laguna Hills JV and Fountain Valley Varsity.  As a competitor, I've won national championships, trophies, medals, banners, jackets, backpacks, ribbons, a spirit stick and even a trip to Hawaii. As a coach, I've helped athletes win and progress in the sport.  My favorite part of cheerleading is being a positive influence in an athlete's life. I've realized that the littlest moment to you, might be a significant one that kid will always remember.  I don't have a favorite quote but quotes I use a lot lately are, "oh snap!", "things just got real in here." and "that..just...happened"

          

 

Coach Kyle

I have been with PCM for as long as I can remember and started with Magic All-Stars in the very early part of their existence.  I coach the Intermediate and Advanced Tumbling Classes.  

 

 

 

Coach Hailey

I have been a part of the Magic Allstars/ Pacific Coast Magic family for 10 years. I have been a cheerleader at this gym since I was 8 and have been cheering with them for ten years. I am a coach for the MIT classes and I absolutely love being an addition to the coaching staff. I have been on a level 5 team for more then half of my cheer experience at this gym and truly enjoy being apart of the PCM family. Student coaching had been an exciting experience because I am able to put my passion for the sport into each athlete's life. An accomplishment I have personally achieved is getting the Magic Award 2 years ago and receiving 3 gold stars from our coaches at camp Woodward. Cheering for PCM has changed my views on life as an athlete and has taught me commitment, patience,and how working together can make you stronger individually and as a team. My favorite quote is "You do not change the world in one day, simply change ones world". I relate to this because coaching is all about teaching and emphasizing positive confidence in each athlete and they will enjoy the process and in the end succeed .

 

Coach Aubree

I have grown up at this cheer gym and consider it my 2nd home. I have been cheering competitively for 14 years and can't imagine my life without it. I am currently a member of the Small All Girl Level 5 Team FANTASY. I have competed at Worlds 5 times and love everything about the preparation, competition and rewards that come with getting ready to step on that mat. I currently coach MIT Classes, Tumbling Classes, Clinics and Camps. I am passionate about many things including Sign Language but what I love most about coaching is being a part of a young athlete's journey as they find what they love most about this sport.

 

Coach Carly

I have been on PCM for three years. My Team Wish  won 1st place in LA last year  I am currently on Superstition, our Small Senior 4 Coed Team.   I am currently coaching the Pee Wee Tumbling Class and High School Prep Class and I am student coaching Destiny.   I coach because I love cheer and kids so coaching is just a win win.    My favorite quote is, "what doesn't kill you can only make you stronger!"
